Our Success Story
World’s First Onsite Regenerative Sanitation System Now Installed in a Residential Home
Decentralizing sanitation remains a critical challenge in the journey toward universal access and climate resilience. But OLO is charting a new path forward — with compact, chemical-free technology that regenerates over 95% of wastewater onsite.
For decades, households have relied on septic tanks for basic sanitation — systems that often pollute, waste water, and require costly sludge removal. But what if the very system that treats your wastewater could also eliminate sludge and produce reusable water — all without sewers?
In July 2025,
With Masters successfully conducted a real-home demonstration of the world’s first fully regenerative onsite sanitation system in Hwaseong, South Korea. The system continues to operate independently, treating all household wastewater onsite and recovering approximately 95% of the water for reuse in non-potable applications, such as irrigating vegetables in the family’s backyard — turning waste into growth.
